It may sound trite, but I have to say it: casting this show was a joy and total agony (misery! woe!). We spent 3 hours hammering out these choices, and I took every last one of them very seriously. With this much talent to choose from I couldn’t have gone wrong, but I still wanted to get it absolutely right. In some cases it came down to schedule conflicts. In others, I had to follow my gut. Understand that these were not easy choices.
If you were not chosen, please know how much I loved seeing each of you last night and how talented and versatile you are. I would love to see each of you audition for me again in the future.
If you are on the above list, (unless I spoke with you on the phone earlier today) please confirm your acceptance of the role by emailing me at shelby.ferrin@gmail.com. Our first cast meeting/rehearsal is tomorrow night (Thursday, Feb. 25) at 7:00pm in the Rehearsal Hall. We will discuss the full rehearsal schedule, cover some administrative issues, assign scripts, discuss the themes of the show, and have a readthrough. Then it’s on to blocking on Saturday. I look forward to seeing you there and beginning our journey together.

Rehearsals are generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday mornings. Please consider this as you note any conflicts on the form.
Instructions for auditions ALL PARTS:
Please prepare 16 measures of an upbeat Broadway style song.
An accompanist will be provided – or bring your own CD.
NO ACAPELLA AUDITIONS.
